Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Oversee and implement rigorous quality control procedures and standards to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and NICEIC requirements.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of electrical installations and identify potential issues.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to site teams to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including test certificates, inspection reports, and risk assessments.
- Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders, effectively communicating project status and addressing any quality concerns.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of electrical installers, ensuring they are competent and qualified to carry out electrical work.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and efficiency.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- NICEIC Approved: Must be a registered NICEIC Approved Electrical Contractor.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, Building Regulations, and industry standards (e.g., BS 7671).
- Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualifications, such as City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a solid track record of ensuring compliance and quality.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, effectively delegate tasks, and foster a positive work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
