Our client, a leading electrical contracting company specialising in CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-outs in Central London, is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their dynamic team. With an annual turnover of £8 million, they offer exciting opportunities to work on high-profile projects.

Estimator Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical installations.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site surveys to gather accurate measurements and assess project requirements.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.

Estimator Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building regulations (BS 7671).
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2391).
• Proven experience in electrical estimating within the commercial fit-out sector.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., WinCAPS, ConEst).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
