Location: Oxford, London & South | Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum + Car Allowance

About the Role:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-value, high-impact projects across a range of sectors, including Offices, Healthcare, Higher Education, Museums and more! With a mix of responsibilities, this is your chance to showcase your leadership skills and drive successful project outcomes from start to finish.
You’ll manage up to 3 projects at once, each with a team including Site Supervisors/Managers and subcontract labour, overseeing commercial electrical projects up to £2m in value. You’ll play a key role in managing relationships with clients and partners, ensuring the smooth progress of every project while maintaining rigorous health and safety standards.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking charge of all electrical aspects of commercial projects from contract signing to handover.
• Building strong client and partner relationships to ensure operational and commercial success.
• Ensuring full compliance through meticulous design audits and overseeing commissioning processes.
• Managing procurement, variations, and costings in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors and commercial teams.
• Maintaining comprehensive quality control, testing, and maintenance records.
• Providing technical support and expertise to internal teams and ensuring projects run smoothly.
• Overseeing the preparation of operational and maintenance manuals for clients.
• Supporting after-care and handover processes to ensure client satisfaction.

You’ll be based across projects and the Oxford / Southampton offices depending on your location, with a regular Monday-to-Friday work schedule from 8am-5pm. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in the success of the company’s continued growth and expansion.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a candidate with a strong track record in electrical project management, ideally with over 5 years of experience managing projects of similar scale and complexity. You should be someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
 
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager in a commercial setting.
• Proven experience managing electrical projects up to £2m in value.
• Hold a Black CSCS Managers Card; SSSTS/SMSTS and HND/HNC are a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and clients effectively.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to navigate challenges and deliver results.
